Denise was Head PR specialist for defunct events and PR firm, RPA & Communicate in 2007-2008, managing events and writing lifestyle and business press releases. She was senior writer of lifestyle magazine, PeopleAsia from end of 2008 to 2011, and still contributes to the said publication. While in PeopleAsia, she wrote the scripts for their three major yearly events – Men Who Matter, Women of Style and Substance and the most prestigious People of the Year Awards.   Denise was part of the editorial board that handled SM’s Generations: 50 years of serving millions commemorative book. She has also been a contributing writer for several broadsheets such as The Philippine Star, Manila Times and Manila Bulletin, as well as magazines like Philippine Tatler, Health Today, Mom’s Today, Rogue, Esquire and online sites such as Spot.ph and Drinkmanila.com.

From 2011 to 2012, she was Events & PR officer for Rustan Commercial Corp. – handling the Cosmetics, Perfumes & Toiletries Division. She organized all consumer and press event launches and workshops, media requests, pullouts, as well as executing promos and disseminating info to all press. She handled about 20+ brands in the entire C & T Division.

A multi-faceted busy bee, Denise is a certified teacher in several styles of yoga including Yin, Laughter and Hatha. But has found her true calling as a Kundalini Yoga Teacher. She is also a certified Sound Healer under Swami Chaitanya Krishna of Golden Temple Singing Bowls, Nepal. Currently, she is taking her LeveL 2 Kundalini training. In her spare time, she squeezes in her services as a tarot and angel card reader, and as a Reiki healer. But managing her family business full-time, remains her top priority.

She began as sales officer for Raroco Insurance in 2013, then soon after was given the opportunity to use her skill set from corporate training in Rustan’s and apply it in the office handling operations. With her mother leaving the Admin & Finance position vacant, she stepped in and became VP for Admin and Finance and VP for Sales and Marketing in 2014. In 2019, Mr. Roco passed the torch down to his daughter as President. Aside from being President, she is also our Corporate Governance Compliance Officer and AML Compliance Officer.

She first pursued a career in Administration and Finance with Aden Services as the Admin and Finance Assistant and Executive Secretary of the Country Manager for 4 years overseeing operations for up to 3 projects in Facilities Management in Masbate Gold Project, Mankayan Benguet and Sagittarius Mining simultaneously. She then showed her mastery in sales joining a BPO company last 2014 hitting sales targets on flight ticket reservations. She finally joined RAROCO Insurance Brokers, Inc. as Admin and HR Manager showing excellence in managing people and company operations last May 2014.

She found passion in managing employee’s and touching people’s lives by updating company protocols and processes for betterment of daily operations. As the Admin and HR Manager, she made sure that all guidelines set are being met including management of the sales team. She is now the Vice President of Admin, HR and Sales – overseeing swift operations of multiple departments within the company. She is also the Corporate Secretary of the Board and the current Data Protection Officer (DPO) of the company.
