Mikaela H. Sison graduated with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with Psychology and Communication tracks. Her main volunteer experiences in college were in the Programs and Logistics team of the Ateneo Association of Communication Majors organization, where she assisted with fundraising, ticket selling, and registration for events, as well as brainstorming ideas and activities.
Mikaela first joined the workforce as a Community Operations Specialist for Uber, then soon became a Quality Specialist, ensuring high standards of communication with platform users and that proper processes were utilized. With consistent peak performance, she became Senior Quality Specialist where she focused on process improvement and alignment among various departments globally. She also handled multiple projects to improve quality scores and tackle process gaps.
Aiming to expand her knowledge, she became a Public Relations Account Executive, creating Crisis Preparedness and Community Engagement Plans for government, corporate, and lifestyle clients.
She went back to being a Quality Analyst with Grab, where she was hands-on with deep dive analysis and process improvement, centered on incidents and accidents of Grab users.
Mikaela is currently focused on helping animal welfare groups and stray animals, prioritizing spay and neuter projects, as well as spreading awareness of group initiatives.
