Regina Rosario Plofino Garrucho, also known as Rinna, was born in Manila City, Philippines. Rinna’s journey is one marked by dedication, versatility, and a passion for both sports and music.

Early Life

Rinna grew up in Barangay Alto, Hacienda Luisita, Tarlac, where she was nurtured by her beloved parents, Manuel and Rosalia Plofino. As the youngest of six siblings, she experienced a vibrant family life filled with love and support, which played a significant role in shaping her character and ambitions.

Education

Rinna pursued her higher education at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts in March 1997. Her academic journey began at the College of the Holy Spirit in Tarlac City, where she earned her high school diploma in March 1993.

Career

Rinna’s professional career is a testament to her adaptability and expertise across various industries.

Rinna currently leads the Agency Sales division at Unicapital Securities, Inc., where she is responsible for the expansion of agency sales, management of stockbrokers, and relationship management of institutional and priority accounts. Prior to her current role, Rinna served as a Certified Securities Representative, executing buying and selling of equities and maintaining strong relationships with institutional clients.

As a Sales Director for groups of companies, Rinna successfully negotiated agreements with top business partners and led various sales teams, achieving significant growth in various industries including media, print, construction and COVID-19 testing services. Rinna managed key accounts for Nestle Philippines, driving sales growth and maintaining strong relationships with major clients like SM Supermarket and Watson’s.

Rinna handled public relations and organized major events, showcasing both local and international musical artists during the early years of her career.
