Everyone’s health and well-being has been drastically affected since the global pandemic began. We can imagine even more so for the medical front- liners who are toiling double or even quadruple times from what is normal. We recognize all their efforts in keeping many of us alive, and we would like to pay back the favor. While caring for all their patients, it is vital that all medical frontliners also receive extra self-care for themselves to remain strong.
For this year’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) of RAROCO Insurance Brokers Inc., our chosen beneficiary is the Tropical Disease Foundation’s medical frontliners and staff. We would like to treat all of them to a two-part “Self-care Special” (1 hour session each) with Eauaua aka Denise Roco – De Leon who will provide breathwork (pranayama), guided meditation, and sound healing with the gong and Tibetan bowls via Zoom

Benefits of Meditation, Breathwork and Sound Healing
Meditation is the habitual process of training your mind to focus and redirect your thoughts. It reduces stress, alleviates anxiety, promotes emotional health, enhances self-awareness, increases attention span, may reduce age-related memory loss, improves sleep, can decrease blood pressure.
Breathwork (Pranayama) – The Sanskrit word pranayama translates to “regulation of life force energy” (prana). Pranayama involves a series of deep breathing exercises and other techniques that aim to control inhalations and exhalations, and sometimes include breath retention (kumbhaka).
Sound Healing is an ancient healing technique that uses tonal frequencies to bring the body into a state of vibrational balance and harmony. Sound frequencies slow down the brain waves to a deeply restorative state, which activates the body’s system of self-healing. The gong has been likened to the “voice of God” as the sound frequencies and vibrations reverberate throughout the body. The Tibetan Bowls are attuned to the 7 vibrational frequencies of the chakras. Through entrainment the body and mind is subdued and relaxed.
